With over three decades in the real estate community, creating housing that is affordable for all is an issue that is of great concern to us. The health of our neighborhoods and our economy rely on housing.
A number of factors can be attributed to the housing shortage – builders leaving the industry during the Great Recession, an increase in land costs and building supplies, an increase in permitting time and costs, and lack of skilled labor. In Whatcom County, all of those factors are in play, leaving our community vulnerable. Our goal is to assist the building community in order to allow them to do what they do best – keep our community housed!
The New Home Strategists, consisting of Denise Lones and Shauna Naf, have the expertise and training to analyze the challenges builders face and develop a plan for overcoming them. Our team can provide everything from strategic site and development planning, local government interface, innovative funding ideas, demographic analysis, brand and marketing development and implementation, and sales team training. Our results-based systems and expertise will get your project SOLD.
Our mission is to help alleviate the housing crisis in Western Washington by collaborating with stakeholders and helping drive projects forward that will get people under roofs faster.
